Unethical Practice

Q1. Why do you think that most people use unethical practices to cheat academically?
A1. So they don't have to do a lot of work. For example, research, ruff draft, typing and editing. The person might think they can get away with it. Additionally, maybe the person waited until the last day and panicked, so they copied and pasted, but switched around the words, still making it cheating.

Q2. Which one of the four offenses committed you think should have been let off with a warning rather than expelled? Why?
A2. None, because they all should know that copy-pasting, use of other people's work, plagiarizing, etc. is cheating and shouldn't be done. Plus, all the acts of cheating were equal, so all of the punishments should be equal.

Q3. What kinds of problems will follow the students with this on their record?
A3. If anyone looks at the students records it will say that they plagiarized and were kicked out of the university, so people wont want to hire them, or invite/accept them for a new school.

Q4. Search the unethical academic practices or plagiarism at the school you want to attend and see what
the offense for these practices are and explain.
A4. Miami University states," The Department of Anthropology is commuted support the growth of student intellect and potential, so the act of plagiarism will be undermined." That means that the university takes this problem seriously and will immediately dismantle the problem.
