TED Review

Q: Why was all of the tracking a concern for the speaker?

A: People are being stalked all over the web. Your privacy is gold, and someone stealing it would make me mad, would you be mad if you were in this situation? The amount of sites connecting to you and others within a few searches, should concern and potentially anger web users.

Q: What do you think the trackers doing with your information?

A: Seeing who you are, what you are like, trying to get a little attention; they are stealing personal information for their use. I don't know why or how, but all I know is I am not happy.

Q: Why would tracking be a good thing? Why would it be a bad thing?
A: There is nothing good about tracking in my opinion, its stealing personal files. But if websites didn't stalk people, we could use it for recommendations for books, movies, games, and songs.

Q: Were you surprised at how many dots/connections were appearing?

A: Yes! I didn't even know about tracking until now. I knew people could use personal files when sighing into accounts, but not this. The amount of connections worry me, everybody who uses the web is in harm of getting their info stolen.

Q:  How many do you think would appear for you? Describe your digital usage.
A: A lot, because I love the web. I used it for music, images, games, school, anything and everything. I use my Apple Ipad for everything, and it is supported by the internet; so you tell me how many connections I have.

Thank You!
